Fierce fighting between Syrian regime and Turkish-backed factions in southern Idlib

IDLIB, Syria — Fierce confrontations took place between Syrian regime forces and Turkish-backed factions in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

The confrontations resulted in the deaths of three members regime forces and two Turkish-backed fighters.

Yesterday evening, SOHR reported that members of the Al-Fateh Al-Mubeen Operations Room had carried out a rocket attack targeting a heavy weapons depot of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the vicinity of Kafr Nabl in the Idlib countryside.
