Sovereignists Front for Lebanon holds country’s leaders responsible for Lebanon’s deterioration

BEIRUT — The Sovereignists Front for Lebanon criticized the Lebanese officials and their affiliates and condemned their failure on several issues, including the failure to address the rise in the dollar exchange rate and their focus on their personal interests and the interests of foreign countries at the expense of Lebanon’s domestic interests, calling on the Lebanese people to revolt in the face of corruption.

After the rapid rise in the dollar exchange rate and the concurrent collapse of the Lebanese pound, the Sovereignists Front for Lebanon held the rulers and their affiliates responsible for the repercussions of this rapid rise in inflation, condemning their inability to stop the dollar’s rise.

The Sovereignists Front considered that the President of the Republic and his political allies insist on controlling the dialogue in a way which allows them to debate how they can continue to be in power in the shadow of illegal weapons that work for the benefit of foreign countries.

The Front considered that the “Arab Opposition” conference reveals the farce of the Lebanese state institutions and their complete acquiescence to Iranian interests, stressing that the Lebanese will not forget the issue of the Beirut port explosion and will continue to wait for the truth to be revealed and for the punishment of all those involved in that bombing that displaced and destroyed so many lives.

The Front indicated that it would call for a solidarity conference with the families of the victims and those affected by the bombing, calling on the Lebanese people to rise up in the face of all those who took advantage of their positions and the agency given to them to secure their personal interests and the interests of foreign countries, instead of working for the interest of the Lebanese people.
