Clashes between Turkish-backed proxies and Tel Tamr Military Council escalate, Turkish forces bomb Villages in Qabre Hewore, North and East Syria

TEL TAMR and QABRE HEWORE, Syria — In a region marked by escalating tensions, members of the Tel Tamr Military Council (TTMC) have taken action against the Hamza Division, a member of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), near the Turkish base in the Abu Rasayn countryside. The operation reportedly resulted in the killing of several members of the Hamza Division. The operation was in response to the escalating Turkish attacks in the region.

Concurrently, Turkey conducted heavy artillery attacks from its border posts, targeting the vicinity of the villages of Girke Shamo and Tel Jahan in the Qabre Hewore (Qahtaniyah) countryside. While there have been no reported human casualties, some material damage was reported.

In other news, the Internal Security Forces (ISF) carried out a security operation, apprehending a member of groups affiliated with the Syrian regime forces involved in events in Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor). The operation led to the seizure of weapons and explosives intended for use against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), underscoring the complex dynamics at play in North and East Syria.
