Administration of North and East Syria delegation meets with Danish Socialist People’s Party to discuss developments in Middle East

COPENHAGEN — As part of a series of diplomatic meetings, the delegation from the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) engaged in discussions with the Socialist People’s Party (Socialistisk Folkeparti, SF) in Denmark. During the meeting, AANES representatives Abdul Karim Omar, Dara Mustafa, and Alan Mansour discussed a range of pressing issues in the Middle East with members of the SF, including member of Danish Parliament Karsten Hønge.

Central topics included an analysis of the Syrian crisis, the escalating activities of the Islamic State (ISIS), and the ongoing challenges posed by Turkish occupation in the region. The Autonomous Administration delegation outlined the economic, political, and security challenges they face, emphasizing the impact of Turkish attacks on infrastructure and service institutions.

During the meeting, both parties explored the current situation in North and East Syria, expressing a shared commitment to finding cooperative solutions. The SF officials expressed agreement with the vision presented by the Autonomous Administration and affirmed their dedication to collaboration in addressing the discussed issues.
