Bethnahrin Patriotic Union hosts lecture on youth role in sustainability and strength of society in Baghdede, Iraq
BAGHDEDE, Iraq — The Baghdede Local Committee of the Bethnahrin Patriotic Union (Huyodo Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA) held a lecture titled “Youth Role in the Sustainability and Strength of Society” attended by young Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian men and women in the Nineveh Plains town of Baghdede (Qaraqosh / Hamdaniyah), Iraq.
The event began with a minute of silence to honor the martyrs of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people and all martyrs of Iraq. Committee official Samer Khaled Chamoun welcomed the attendees and delivered the lecture.
Chamoun explained concepts impacting youth today and discussed the differences between the experiences of past and present generations. He emphasized the vital role of youth in society, encouraging them to choose a realistic life that endures challenges and helps overcome the obstacles faced by the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian community and the broader homeland.
The lecture was well-received, sparking positive interaction and discussions among the attendees.
