Delegation from Lebanese-American Coordination Committee visits Sovereign Front for Lebanon
BEIRUT — The Sovereign Front for Lebanon received a delegation from the Lebanese-American Coordination Committee at its headquarters in the Sodeco neighborhood of Beirut.
The delegation included Director of the Washington, D.C. Office of the World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU) Mai Rihani, President of “Our New Lebanon” Faris Wahba, and former U.S. diplomat and President of the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership Foundation Walid Maalouf.
The two sides discussed the worsening situation in Lebanon which the Lebanese people have been forced to endure and ways of escaping the downward trend.
They agreed that electing a new, reformist president is a necessary step towards a free, independent, prosperous, and neutral Lebanon.
The Front stated that all Lebanese MPs who believe in these national characteristics should cooperate to nominate a personality that holds such features.
The Front added that communications between the two parties will continue to follow up any new developments.
